Cabane de Moiry, Swiss Alps (2011)
Its a long hard slog up to the Cabane de Moiry which stands on the Alpine Haute route at 2,900m above sea level – but the view is worth it. The cabin stands proud in front of the backdrop of the Mont Blanc Massif. Certainly one of the most spectacular spots to stay in the Alps. This particular shot involved a hike up some nearby rocks by head-torch following an already grueling day of ascent. But it was worth it!
